Sharp MX Series Machines and the Environment.

The new MX range from Sharp reinforces the company's environmental commitment through the development of significantly smaller and more efficient toner cartridges. High quality imaging is acheived with reduced toner consumption while the new toner technology ensures a mono cost per print that is equivilant or improved over that of conventional mono devices. A non-oil based fuser delivers images, which combined with the incorporation of Sharps colour stabalising system, ensures consistantly high image quality. Furthermore, efficiency in the manufacturing of toner cartridges results in a very low waste rate. Cartridges are made from recyclable plastic, and packaging material is also substantially reduced due to the smaller unit size.

Power consumption can also be controlled through a variety of modes, including pre-heat mode, automatic power shut-off mode and manual energy save mode. All these features combined with a new long life OPC Drum, ensure that the MX range delivers increased efficiency and productivity, whilst complying with all environmental regulations.

The Sharp range of multi-function models are accredited with the Nordic Swan eco-label for their advanced enviromental features. They have also been awarded the energy star for low energy consumption.
